Unnotch is a simple, lightweight utility app designed to visually hide the MacBook notch by drawing an overlay. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, or analytics from our users. The app operates entirely locally on your device.
2. Local Storage
Unnotch only saves your display preferences (such as your chosen overlay height, corner radius, and launch-at-login status) locally on your Mac using standard macOS settings (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device.
3. Third-Party Services
The app does not use any third-party SDKs, tracking tools, or external services.
4. Permissions
Unnotch does not require sensitive macOS permissions such as Screen Recording, Accessibility, or Input Monitoring. It does not connect to the internet.
